The Inn at Serenbe is THE go-to location for a back-to-nature getaway. Nestled in the rolling countryside on the edge of Atlanta, it’s just 30 minutes south of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. At the Inn, all stays include afternoon tea, evening sweets and a full country breakfast. The 1,000 acre property includes preserved forestland, wildflower meadows, 15 miles of trails that go by two waterfalls and a large granite outcropping, an animal village, swings and rocking chairs, two pools and a cabana, two hot tubs, croquet lawn, and endless opportunities for relaxing and connecting with nature.
FOOD, FARM, AND FUN
You can walk a labyrinth in peaceful meditation, lose yourself on trail rides breathing fresh country air, spend the day pampering at the spa, rent a golf-cart and spin around the property, feed the many farm animals, enjoy farm to table cuisine, or simply relax by the pool. There is something to fill your spirit and belly at every turn.
THE SLEEPY HOLLOW EXPERIENCE
A crisp autumn evening sets the stage deep within the wood of Serenbe. Are you afraid of the dark? I hope so, because The Sleepy Hollow Experience is a traveling performance brilliantly acted under the cover of night. This immersive take on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is recognized as one of the ‘Top Five Halloween Plays in the Country’ by American Theatre Magazine. You not only bear witness to the event, you become part of it! I cannot tell you how much fun this is, truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Make this a yearly tradition and bring lots of friends. Adult libations and popcorn are also available so basically wins on wins.
MAKING FURRY FRIENDS
After spending what seems like hundreds of hours on screen time, a walk around a small farm, animal village, and the south Georgia countryside seemed like the perfect solution for going off grid.
At Serenbe, complimentary feed is provided for guests to engage with the many animals at the Inn's Animal Village. We were able to pet and feed the pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, and a llama. A regular Dr. Doolittle if you will. For animal people, this just fills your heart.
The Farmhouse at Serenbe, one of Atlanta's original farm-to-table restaurants, serving regional cuisine using locally grown, organic ingredients from the restaurant's own garden as well as from Serenbe Farms and other area producers. The menu changes monthly to highlight the freshest, seasonal ingredients available.

Cozy, casual layers for crisp days and cool nights. Clothes that feel as great as they look.
Caution! This is for people that only like to have fun! I promise you will not be disappointed. There is no way you can go home without experiencing this much joy and laughter, at yourself as well as the goats. Goat yoga is practiced amongst sweet and silly Nigerian Dwarf goats. Every class is a new experience, as the goats tend to be the stars of the show. Goats are considered to be one of the best emotional support animals. Though it is hard to determine who is supporting who here. Clearly we nailed it LOL!
ROOM TO UNWIND
For our weekend of ghosts and goats, we stayed at Lake House 33. The Lake House is a spacious 4 bedroom cottage that overlooks the lake. Each room includes a King bed, or two twins, each with a private bath, and a common area with a full kitchen and living room. The Lake House also has a large screened wrap porch which is great for evening cocktails and and watching beautiful sunsets with the farm animals.
